Keep the money
your venue
is losing.

Back of House is software that reads the records you already keep, and a person who sits with you to go through them. Together they find where your venue loses money, put every leak in pounds, biggest first, and line up each fix. Nothing changes until you sign. For hospitality venue owners and operators.

Free for our first venues. You keep the report either way.

You send
Downloads from your POS, rota, accounts and bank. Or connect them once; we only read.
You get
One report: every leak in pounds, the sums behind each, and what to do about it.
You decide
Every move waits for your signature. Say no, and your reason is kept.

Your venue, at its best.

What you get back: every leak, in pounds.

This is the first page of an audit on an invented venue. Yours will be different. That is the point of the audit: the money is in your records, not in a brochure.

What changes for you.

Six things an owner notices. The full capability list is for the call.

More of what you take stays yours

Card fees, supplier prices, brand money you are owed, stock that walks, dishes priced under your margin: found in your own records and put in pounds, so you fix the biggest first.

No surprises at month end

Every night’s takings checked against card and cash. Every invoice checked against what was delivered and what the supplier’s own copy says. Payments you did not approve, flagged.

A rota that fits the night

Hours against the covers you will actually do, labour against the target you set, and cover found when someone calls in sick. Pay worked out for you to approve; your payroll provider still files it.

One message a morning

Only what needs you, and you reply yes or no. During service, nothing reaches you unless it cannot wait. Licence dates, food-safety checks and council rules handled before they become a problem.

Guests who come back, and quiet nights filled

Your own booking page and a brief before service: who is in, what they like, what went wrong last time. Reviews answered in drafts you approve. Offers for quiet hours, and a straight answer on whether each one made money.

Fewer tools, one screen

Bookings, guests, staff, social and your website on the same records as your POS and accounts. For a one-site hospitality venue, 18 to 20 separate tools add up to about £1,641 a month at list prices; this does those jobs in one place.

SAMPLE: built and tested on invented venues, not yet live. Tool prices are published UK list prices read 18 Oct 2026, for a one-site hospitality venue of sample size; named tools are examples, not partners.

How it goes, and how you pay.

Three stages. You decide at the end of each one whether to go on, and you keep everything we have given you either way.

  1. The audit

An hour or two in your office. You get one report: every leak in pounds, biggest first, with the sums. Free for our first venues. You keep the report whether or not you go on.

    Costs nothing
  2. A 30-day trial

Before day one we write down a target together and you sign it: how many of the audit’s findings prove right, checked by you, in your own records. Nothing is acted on yet, so the target is not your takings. You run service as normal. Miss the target and you stop, owing nothing more. The start fee is not returned; it paid for the set-up and the trial report, which you keep.

One start fee per site, which covers set-up and the trial
  3. Run with you

Each month you sign or say no to each suggestion. You get a weekly note and a monthly review, and we work the fixes through with your team: menu and costs, rota, training.

One monthly fee per site, agreed after the audit
If you want to stop

30 days’ notice, by one message.

The term, and how you pay, are agreed on the call.

You keep your reports and an export of your records, free.

Prices are agreed per site, after the audit, when we both know what was found. No trial starts in the December peak.

You decide. Every time.

Nothing that moves money, pay or people happens until you, or a manager you name, sign. Try it on a check from a sample venue.

Try it: sign this check.

  1. Your signature, or nothing.Sign, say no, or ask why on every check. A no always needs a reason, and the reason is kept.
  2. We only read.Links to your accounts, POS and card payments can read your figures and cannot change a thing in them. You connect on each vendor’s own sign-in page.
  3. Nothing leaves without your word.No message goes to a guest, a supplier or your staff until a named owner or manager says send, for that exact message.
  4. Your data stays yours.Kept apart from every other venue. Never sold or shared: not with suppliers, drinks brands or lenders. Take it with you any time, even if you stop paying.
  5. A record you can check.Who signed what, and why, on one record per venue that shows if a line is ever changed.
One venue's own signed record: two lines, each sealed to the one before, intact; line 2 signed by Jane O., owner, in her own hand

No. 05

We are looking for our first three venues.

Back of House has been built and tested on invented venues. No real venue has run through it yet. We would rather say that than show you a wall of logos. It also means the first venues get a deal nobody after them will.

The audit is free.
Your records, our time, one report you keep, whatever you decide.
The founder is in the room.
James runs your audit himself, in your office, and walks you through every line.
Every finding checked with you first.
You mark each one right, wrong or already knew before anyone acts on it. Nothing is sent to anyone.
You shape what comes next.
What the first venues need gets built first. Your terms are agreed once, and kept.
